Programme Overview
FPI applies PMF model (Probabilistic Matrix Factorization) combines LAMPAS system to identify and quantify the emission source, realize the source and cause analysis of particulate pollution, and provide basic data and technical support for precise control of regional air pollution, fine management of air quality and heavy pollution emergency response evaluation.

Compared with traditional off-line method, FPI particulate source analysis system adopt sample homology technology, which has the advantage of short sampling time and high accuracy.

The significance of this system is to protect human health. Particulate in the atmosphere can penetrate deep into the lungs and enter the body systematically, affecting the cardiovascular and other major organ systems and increasing risks of pre-mature mortality from heart attack, respiratory infections, and lung cancer.
Programme Composition
Ambient particulate source analysis system consists of three parts: instrument, online data, and source tracing.

? Instrument Series:
XRF Metal Analyzer: integrating X-ray fluorescence for metal analysis up-to 30 elements and beta-ray attenuation model for particulate mass monitoring, thus it would be significantly effective in industry emission tracing.

Carbon Analyzer: adopting thermo-photometry principle with TOT/TOR dual optical correction. Integration oven of back & front design avoids condensation of high temperature organics before entering into back oven, which further improved precision.

Soluble Ion Analyzer: sample gas passes through denuder and soluble gas will be analyzed by ion chromatography first, the aerosol will then be inflated and passing into ion chromatography for analysis on soluble aerosol.

TOF-MS PM Analyzer: adopting the single-particle aerosol time-of-flight mass spectrometry that can measure the chemical composition and size of single particles in real-time and respond rapidly to sudden source of pollution. It is generally used for determining pollution source in urban, remote and marine environment or verifying the accuracy of PMF module to provide data report to environmental agency.

? Online Data:
All the initial data detected by the instrument will be stored in the big data management platform.

? Source Tracing:
Based on online data, data analysis and component analysis will be carried out through chemical equations and algorithms to achieve the purpose of tracking the particles source.
Features Of The Scheme
? Sample Homology
Equipped with a unified sampling system to ensure that the samples are homologous and improve the accuracy of the results.

? Flexible Configuration
Flexible selection methods can be applied to various scenarios and meet different demands.

? Supporting Application
According to the results of source tracing analysis, relevant reports are issued regularly to scientifically guide the precise control of air pollution and the fine management of air quality in a certain area.
