How Does FPI Measure Greenhouse Gases?
Дата публикации:2023-07-06 Источник: Вид Номер:2627

April 4th, 2022, the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) released its new report titled Climate Change 2022: Mitigation of Climate Change. The report indicated that greenhouse gases emissions reached 59 billion tons in 2019, surging 12% from 52.5 billion tons emitted globally in 2010. That is to say, the annual growth has been 1.3% in the past decade.

On September 22nd, 2019, the Chinese government proposed on the 75th session of the UN General Assembly that China will increase its independent national contribution, adopt stronger policies and measures, strive to peak CO2 emissions by 2030, and achieve carbon neutrality by 2060.

The greenhouse gas monitoring room is the basis for studying the trend and intensity of greenhouse gas concentration changes, as well as the basis for greenhouse effect evaluation and the formulation of emission reduction measures. The concentration of greenhouse gases in the urban atmosphere is low, and the variation is small to accurately obtain their concentration levels and variation trends, which requires automatic monitoring techniques and instruments with high sensitivity and high precision.

HPGA-3301 Greenhouse Gases Analyzer

FPI has responded to this need by introducing the high-precision greenhouse gas analyzer HPGA-3301. It offers unparalleled performance and can measure the concentrations of CO2, CH4, and H2O simultaneously. It is an ideal tool for air quality monitoring and scientific research with a user-friendly interface, easy operation, and ruggedness.

Principle

HPGA-3301 adopts Cavity Ring Down Spectroscopy (CRDS) technology, which can achieve an effective measurement light range of up to 20 km in a limited optical cavity so that the analyzer can achieve excellent accuracy and sensitivity despite its small size. Its unique internal temperature and pressure control algorithm give the analyzer excellent precision, accuracy, and low drift performance, providing customers with stable to extreme measurements.

Features:

  • Concentrations of CO2, CH4 and H2O can be monitored simultaneously.
  • Measuring range reaches ppb level sensitivity, accuracy, and precision to meet WMO standards.
  • Unique algorithm to correct for water vapor dilution effect.
  • Excellent ultra-low long-term drift.
  • It is compact and sturdy, and the measurement is not affected by ambient temperature changes.

Applications:

  • Urban environment monitoring.
  • Suburb environment monitoring.
  • Industrial process emission monitoring.
